Anti-Slavery Day 2023

'And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.'

- Micah 6:8

To mark Anti-slavery Day this year, we are launching our Match Giving Opportunity. The Tamar team has had the privilege of supporting victims of trafficking for the last 10 years – we celebrated our 10th anniversary last month, in September.

Supporting trafficked victims on their road to recovery, freedom and justice, can be a long road. One that we can thankfully offer, and which has been a lifeline to many, walking with them through their times of success and times of difficulty.

With thanks for all your support,

The Tamar Team

Matched Giving Opportunity*: £10 for 10 Years

Between now and 31st December this year, we have an amazing opportunity to potentially double the impact of a monthly donation of £10 into £22.50. We are able to double our donations - pound for pound - including doubling the gift aid (where applicable)! So £10 becomes £20, plus the £2.50 gift aid, which makes a total of £22.50! Over the course of one year, this totals £270 at a cost of only £120 to you.

Why not consider...

  • £20 a month becomes £45 a month (£540 a year)
  • £30 a month becomes £67.50 a month (£810 a year)
  • £40 a month becomes £90 a month (£1,080 a year)
  • £50 a month becomes £112.50 a month (£1,350 a year)
  • £100 a month becomes £225 a month (£2,700 a year)

Your regular financial support will help us continue with our vital work and offer long-term support to all who need it. Please join us, if you are able to, by making a regular monthly gift or one-off gift to support our work.

Tamar was always there for me... you were there throughout the years and went to immigration court with me until I got justice. You cared and I was important to you."
